All the lights are on upstairs and everybody's home.
In future days, all of the shall see new articles with the linguistic legerdemain that ye have all come to expect from suc h an intellectual, handsome, but exceptionally busy individual as myself.
Yes, having a memory for details that never forgets anything does have advantages - I hope to populate my posts with tons of quotations from all sources - movies, TV, SciFi, Literature, Great Thinkers, Politicians and even a few Liberals on occasion, just to show them for what they are.
I pledge to be a kindler, gentler Deacon - I'm still working on the cursing in the spoken word, so having to properly think out things in print will be of enormous service.
I also pleadge to try to be upbeat, with wise sage words of wisdom - in fact I feel a quote coming upon me as I speak, one of no particular releavnce to anything topical, but as this post is generic in nature to begin with, a quote from Winston Churchill regarding Enthusiasm is in order:
"Success Is The Ability to go from Failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm."
This is in no way prophetic, nor meant to imply anything regarding their party or ours, but a kind of general statement as to how to go about our lives in the political subject arena and never let them get to us. We'll take a few lumps from time to tome, but as Dr. McCoy once said, we'll give as good as we get.
